Knowing the list of traits that make you a strong individual is easy.

Being able to admit your flaws and areas for improvement is a completely different ball game.

Once one is able to strip back the layers, it then requires an equal amount of energy putting the positive actions into practise.

Most people want to finish the year a better person than that they started.

But it isn’t easy.

Consistently meeting new standards you have set yourself can be tricky.

As we read on we look to expand your knowledge and enable you to be able to take action and make yourself the person you wish to be.

Let’s go!

What Is A Character Trait?

A character trait is a quality or attribute that someone possesses.

Personality traits, rather than brief events, are persistent behavioral and emotional patterns.

Anyone may have a bad day now and then, become irritated, and say something rash.

When this event is isolated, this doesn’t represent a personality trait when it happens once or twice.

However, when an individual repeats a behaviour consistently over an extended period of time then we can look to reference ones personality traits.

So, if someones typical behaviour is to snap at someone rather than communicating politely, then snappiness is likely a personality trait that person has.

There are many different character traits.

But some of them are more important than others when it comes to making up a strong character.

There are both positive and negative personality traits.

We will look to further our knowledge as we continue to explore the traits that make up a strong character.

How Are Your Character Traits Determined?

The proof is in the pudding.

As humans we create conclusions based on the things we see.

There’s no escaping this.

It’s easy to create a false image of ones self, telling others what they want to hear.

You can say you’re healthy, but when the cupboard is filled with cookies and cakes, the evidence suggests otherwise.

In the same way, your character is revealed by your actions.

It’s not what you say, it’s what you do.

Others can see your character traits much more clearly than you can.

And while you may think that some of your less desirable traits are hidden away, remember that people closest to you will see them.

Deceitful people will always find a way to twist the truth to their advantage.

They are dishonest and can’t be trusted.

Dishonesty:
